The New Book Awards are an independently run publishing recognition program intended to bring increased awareness to all facets of authorship including small press and self-published titles published each year. The awards are open to all genres, authors and publishers worldwide who produce books intended for an English-speaking market. Judging primarily is scored by literary qualities and not by popularity or trending topics.  Our strict decision process is completely free of industry bias (insider favoritism GONE).  As the entrant you have input into the judging process. 

 

Your regional area bookstore is encouraged to support local authors and we can help you do that.

The 2023 New Book Awards is open now! New published titles eligible must be in English, released from 2022-2023 copyright including new released editions, audio & ebooks can enter.
